India and Japan Advance Roadmap for Structured Skilled-Worker Mobility

India and Japan convened government, industry and training-provider stakeholders to build structured pathways combining technical training, Japanese-language instruction, and cultural preparation for Indian workers, part of a five-year target to exchange 500,000 personnel. Japanese employers will subsidize vocational and language training in India.
